What to expect from a PMU treatment with us

First step of your journey

1. BOOK A CONSULTATION: We will discuss options, agree on a plan and provide sensitivity test.
2. GO STRAIGHT AHEAD AND BOOK A TREATMENT: A consultation will take place at the start of your appointment, where we will agree on the best treatment for you.
A sensitivity test and instructions can be posted to you. Please contact us after appointment is booked.
02.
Consultation
Getting to know you
This can be a separate appointment or just before your treatment takes place. This time allows you to discuss your reasons for PMU and establish details of your health, lifestyle, and personal goals, as well as a skin analysis to assist in developing a treatment plan.
Healed results, vary as each person is unique and what suits one person wont suit another. Its important to do your own research as well as taking into consideration the artists recommendation and reasons for this.
You are welcome to bring pencils or lips sticks you normally wear as well as any photos you have so we can colour match.

Initial Treatment
Treatment day!
This appointment can take up to 2.5/3hrs. Please leave plenty of time so you aren't rushing away.
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HAVE A CARD MACHINE, OUR PREFERED METHOD OF PAYMENT IS CASH OR BANK TRANSFER PLEASE.

A health form will be sent through our booking system to be filled out online prior to treatment day.

Please try to arrive on time, not too early or late.

We have an electric treatment bed and supports, for maximum comfort

You will be kept warm with a cozy blanket

You can use toilet facilities at any point and will be offered at least once.

There will be background music, however, you are welcome to bring earphones with you.

Please let me know if you would like to just relax, as I could talk the hind legs off a donkey at times.

The process will be explained before we start and you have the option to see the area throughout the procedure, or wait for the big reveal, its up to you.

Your enhancement will appear 20% darker/bolder and bigger than the desired healed effect to allow for fading and shrinking during healing process. The final result cannot be seen until at least 4 weeks later.
05.
Predraw
Part 1 of Treatment Day
This is when I measure and create a template prior to starting the procedure. This can be a tedious part of the process, but is necessary to ensure a smooth treatment and the best possible outcome.
I have two techniques I use to shape, depending on different factors.:
1. Face Mapping, using thread, pencil and a measuring tool as well as a mobile symmetry app. For mapping brows the dark pencil can sometimes be off putting for the client, as it can be difficult to visualise what the end result will be..
2. Intuitive drawing, which is a skilled technique only experienced artists can do as it's shaping by eye. This can be easier to visualise the end result.
Both techniques take each clients individual features into consideration. Both require a level of trust to ensure you leave with a shape that will lift your brows, eyes and corners of the lips.

Aftercare
5 star aftercare
You will be provided with an aftercare pack containing everything you need to look after your enhancement during healing.
You will be physically shown how to clean and be verbally given instructions as well as be provided with instructions on how to care for you PMU.
Everyone's healing journey is unique to them.
We provide aftercare for each individual according to their unique needs.
Follow Up/Touch Up

Fine tune the result
You may be offered a follow up appointment which takes place 4-6 weeks after initial treatment. This gives us the opportunity to check we are both happy with the final outcome.
Some clients prefer just to message if there's any issues, rather than come in, and that's ok too.
Depending on the outcome of the follow up appointment, some clients may require a touch up to fine tune the final results.
This depends on different factors like skin type, age of client, technique use etc.
If you do require a touch up, this will be at a cost of £30 and will normally take no more than an hour.
All pre-care instructions should be followed prior to the touch up.
